Who we are

Pradhan Press ("we", "us") runs this website and decides how your personal data is used (we are the "Data Fiduciary" under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023). You can reach us at the contact details below.

What we collect

When you buy: your name, email address, the products and language editions you bought, the amount, and the Razorpay order and payment IDs.

When you log in: your email address and the account ID given by Firebase Authentication (Google sign-in or an email link). We never see or store your Google password.

When you write a review: your rating, review text and the name you choose to show.

When you subscribe to our emails: your email address, the time you agreed, and where you signed up.

Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure page; we never see or store them.

Why we use it

To deliver what you bought (email, download page and My Library), to let you log in, to show your reviews, to answer support requests, to prevent fraud and misuse, and to keep the accounting and tax records required by law. We send offers and news only if you opted in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies and browser storage

We use one essential cookie ("__session") to keep you logged in and remember your website language and currency. Your cart and, during sign-in, your email address are kept in your own browser (local storage). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Razorpay may set its own cookies during checkout.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the shop: Razorpay (payments), Google Firebase / Google Cloud (login, database and file hosting, servers in India), and Google Gmail (sending emails). If you use the AI helper on our website, the questions you type are sent to Anthropic (the provider of the AI model) only to produce an answer; please do not type personal or payment details there. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require (generally up to 8 years). Unpaid checkouts are deleted after 30 days and expired download links after 30 days. Reviews and email subscriptions are kept until you delete them or unsubscribe.

Security

The website uses HTTPS, secure HttpOnly cookies, short-lived random download links, strict access rules on the database and file storage, and rate limits against misuse. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a summary of your personal data, ask us to correct or complete it, or ask us to erase it (we keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices). You can withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link. You can delete your account yourself in My Library ("Delete my account"). You can also nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. To use any of these rights, call +91 94382 87616.

Children

This website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian, who should complete the purchase.

Grievances

If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer (the owner of the business) — see the Grievance redressal page. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
